This exhibition brings together projects from the 20th and 21st editions of Master PHotoESPAÑA. Once again, this year, this show is hosted by the Alcobendas Art Center in which 30 visual artists will present their work. The themes discussed in this exhibition reflect the complexities and contradictions in our current global society, inviting reflection and dialogue on fundamental issues such as identity, loneliness, gender problems, environmental deterioration, extraterrestrial life, death, addressing through various visual forms intimate and collective aspects of the human experience. Loneliness, death, and identity are explored by artists in diverse cultural contexts. Transculturality and postcolonialism question dominant narratives and celebrate cultural diversity in this globalized world. Motherhood, public spaces, death and old age address intimate and collective aspects of the human experience. In short, contemporary times challenge us to rethink our identities, values, and beliefs in an increasingly complex environment.
