II Cycle Explained Music

II Cycle Explained Music

In this second cycle, again consisting of educational concerts directed and presented by pianist Héctor J. Sanchez, we shall continue discovering how easy it is to understand and enjoy classical music. This time the aim is to show that music is one of the most comprehensive disciplines that exist, it develops the core capabilities and skills of the person and, contrary to what might seem, is supported in every sense we have and not only the ear.

Therefore, during the concerts of this cycle we shall go through the music world by relating to each of the senses: taste, smell, touch, sight, hearing ... and our sixth sense, which we will discuss in the final concert. And as we do, we shall discover gradually the different skills we develop when listening to music. As we shall see, the music literally makes us better people, it makes us more capable, more open, more sensitive and more intelligent.

That does not mean we forget the true essence of this cycle: we will continue talking about the works to be performed in each concert, explaining its different aspects, but this time will not only be musical aspects, but also artistic, practical, historical, anecdotal, etc.. Moreover, we will have the cooperation of the outstanding violinist Dobrochna Banaszkiewicz in one of the concerts, which will make the cycle to be more diverse and enjoyable.
