Domingo Sánchez Blanco and Luis Buñuel share their interest in San Simon's figure and his column. Buñuel in his film Simón in the desert recreates with irony and black humor the ascetic life of the IV Century, he spend fourty years in the highest point of a column in a desert from Siria, from where preaching and where Satán, transfigured in a seductive devil woman, appears.

Domingo Sánchez Blanco is a surprising and provocative artist, his works includes performance, videos, paintings and sculptures. Fully implicated in the elaboration and the interpretation of his works, he climbed in many occasions like this installation dressed with flamenco costume. A critic work but plenty of humor, connected with Buñuel's film.
