SCHOOL CAMPAIGN 2023/2024

Didactic tours

With this program we try to bring the exhibitions of the Centro de Arte Alcobendas to the schoolchildren. The school campaign targets schools providing education from kindergarten up to secondary school.

During the activity, led by a cultural animator from the centre, we use methodological dynamics that encourages dialogue with works and facilitate the active participation of the attendees. The activity is complemented with a creative workshop in which participants will experience in pracicet what they have seen during the visit.

Schools may program visits from Monday to Friday mornings, necessitating advance booking, at least a month in advance.

Art in the city

Educational tour to the sculptures project Art in the City, located in different parks and public spaces of the city. Addressed to different cycles of the educational system.
We move the group by bus from the Educational Center visiting the various sculptures. A monitor-guide will accompanied the group throughout the activity. Throughout the visit, there will be games and activities to make it more dynamic and fun facilitating the acquisition of basic concepts related to the latest art.

The program includes, in addition to the tour, the delivery of educational materials with a teacher's guide, so you can continue the activity in the classroom and go deeper in bringing children to contemporary art.
